Operations Manager / Business Support Manager

Salary – circa £38k plus benefits
I am looking for someone who has experience working with the local authority and national government bodies. If your experience includes the building and developing multi agency partnerships at a senior level then I may have just the job for you.
This organisation is a registered charity – whilst benefiting from public funding they are a private organisation whose services work in conjunction with local authority and national government bodies.
In this role you will be tasked with the enhancement of these relationships including via use of technology (the organisation benefits from an award winning web portal), bidding for new grants and the development of specific partnerships. Ultimately you will be targeted on both increased reach and expansion in the take up of the services offered.
You will do this with the support of a team – some of which are IT / technology experts and so you will need to have experience in that area, ideally the management of a web development function.
In addition you will:
- have experience in developing relationships with local authority and national government bodies aimed at increasing service reach.
- be commercially minded, you will need to have spent time in a role delivering real commercial success
- have exposure to the ‘tender to win funding’ process
- demonstrate strong communication skills at all levels
